Just as The Influence Project celebrates the impact and far-reaching influence of pioneering Black Musicians, the second collaboration in the series Still I Rise celebrates the impact and influence of trailblazing Black Women who paved the way for future generations.

Inspired by the incredible women of The Influence Project such as Angie Stone, member of hip hop’s first female group The Sequence (1979), Martha Reeves, who secured Motown's first Grammy nomination in 1964 with the Vandellas’, and Ms Lauryn Hill, who became the first Hip Hop artist to win the Album of the Year Grammy in 1999,  Still I Rise expands on this to include artists, actors, politicians, scholars, community members and family, in an exploration of Black Feminism and Afrocentrism that celebrates the power, beauty, and achievements of Black women.
